No properly-bound book for ZendCon, but discounts!

So the binding of the books won't happen in time for me to have one to bring with me to the Zend Conference, but I will have a bound manuscript to show off. I will also have flyers to hand out, which will give you a 35% discount on the book!

It ended up working out better for me to go out there for a few days around the conference (I arrive on the 6th), so if anybody in the Bay area feels up for a Saturday night run to any one of the many restaurants I miss in San Francisco, it would make me very happy! If not, I'll just go without you anyway, as I plan to do most of the nights that week (except, of course, the evening of Happy Hour 2.0).

Any chance there'll be 35% discounts for site visitors? :)

Great to have met up with you in Vegas! Many thanks for attending our wedding. We hope you had a wonderful time.

Don't forget to let me know when your book becomes available - I'll definitely grab a few copies.

As a banker I won't be able to use it myself, but I will make sure that it lands in the hands of some of my tech friends.

Take care!

PS - Pinkie sez hallo!

AhHa! Just thought I'd like to know Amazon.co.uk has your book

http://tinyurl.com/2728yd

At £34 pounds, big price difference compared to what you folks pay back in the US - $39. It's also being distributed in Europe about one month later.

Very curious.

Marielle and I were planning a weekend in New York in November, so we might just purchase it there rather than Amazoning it. Maybe you folks can some to Manhattan then to sign our copies?

London will be pretty miserable then, so we'll be needing a break. A book purchasing trip to New York will suffice nicely...

Very glad to have made it out there for the event!

I've posted the link to the Amazon.co.uk entry for the book. Much appreciated! I would love to make it up to New York to meet up. Keep in touch as your trip approaches and we'll see how things go.

P.S. Hi to Pinkie!
